WABA’s 1st Prince George’s County Bike Summit takes place Saturday afternoon, May 18, 2024 in Suitland, Maryland. This free event aims to boost Prince George’s bicycling community and advance safe biking for all across the county. We’re excited!
The summit will feature discussions with policy-makers and advocates, opening with a keynote by Council Chair Jolene Ivey.
We’ll have a panel discussion of Expanding the Prince George’s County Bicycling Network with community members and county and state officials, followed by the program’s centerpiece, a roundtable on Bicycling Equity/Building Community Power.
If you’re a recreational rider or bike commuter or bicycle with family members – if you want to see safer streets and the creation of new trails and bike lanes and easy transit access – if you’re an advocate or county or state official or just a biking enthusiast – please join us at the summit.
