You don't hate Cupid, Cupid just appears to have terrible aim when it comes to you. The Blind date ticket is for the adventurous singles who aren't afraid of meeting someone new. You'll receive a table with a full-course dinner for you and another daring individual, a complimentary bottle of wine, and a rose. I'm not saying we here at Creative Suitland are matchmakers, but if the stars align and you find love, you can have your wedding at Creative Suitland...or just make sure we get an invite.
THE SINGLE:
Not quite ready to mingle...Uncoupled and everything in between. You can still come out and enjoy an amazing show. This ticket is for general seating. You receive access to the show without a table and a complimentary glass of wine.

ABOUT THE PERFORMERS:
Ayo - Born in Atlanta and raised both in Nigeria and the United states, Ayo is a singer-songwriter who channels life complexities into simple pop melodies to soothe the human heart. Her catchy melodies and sense of storytelling take the reader on a journey through their own lives as a means to help her audience process the highs and lows of life. She has been featured on HBO, BET and the Kennedy Center and continues to write and perform here in the DMV.
Karmel The Poet (care-mel) - Karmel Poet is a storyteller and spoken word poet from Houston, TX. Their work centers the erotic and their experiences as Black Queer human. Karmel first entered the poety scene via online radio in the early 2000's and is now ranked among the top 25 queer poets in the world. They have touched stages in various cities across the world including Houston, New York, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, and London, including sharing the stage with The Floacist. Karmel is the author of three self-published collections of poetry. Metaphors, Moans and More (2016), Naughty Narratives (2017), and Stiletto Chronciles (2017). Currently Karmel is pursuing their Masters of Art in Literature from Texas Southern University while also working on a collection of short stories and a new collection of poetry focused on queer sex and kink.
