Creative Suitland presents The Promethean Inferno: POETRY SLAM

On Saturday, November 19th at 6:00 PM, Creative Suitland will host its first-ever Poetry Slam. Admission starts at $15. The Promethean Inferno Poetry Slam will use theme-focused Poetry competitions to highlight the culture, provide engagement, and continue to implement poetry and poetry-led activities and events.

The Battle of Word Smiths will bring a diverse group of talented and influential spoken word artists to create a vibrant, lively competition. Slam competitions exist not only to entertain but also to educate, and empower the under-served community through Art-based programming.

General Admission: $15

Senior/Military/Children under 16: $10

Interested performers must complete the google form here to apply. Please note: There are 20 spots available to participate in the competition. Participant entry fee is $25. Cash prizes will be awared to the top 3 poets. Completing the application does not secure your spot as a confirmed performer; each selected poet will receive a confirmation email.
