Creative Suitland, in partnership with BabyScientist presents BabyScientist Day!

Join us on Saturday, November 5th from 12-2pm for interactive and hands-on STEM activities for the whole family to enjoy! Open to all ages!

This is a DONATION BASED event; please register in advance as space is limited!

BabyScientist is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established by Dr. Kristy L. McDowell whose mission is to educate, motivate, and inspire children, K-12, from underserved communities and underrepresented populations to pursue careers in STEM. They organize and operate STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) workshops all throughout the DMV and are partnering with Creative Suitland to provide the children of Suitland and their parents some fun and engaging hands-on scientific activities. The experiments will expose the families to a variety of scientific disciplines such as molecular biology, chemistry, and forensics to provoke and stimulate their curiosity. Our goal is to excite, inspire, and educate the children as well as their parents thus igniting their “scientific fire,” motivating them to seek more!
