What started in the halls of Suitland didn’t stay there.
Twenty years later, the creativity that was being shaped in classrooms, sketchbooks, art rooms, and imaginations back in 2006 is still evolving and now we get to see a piece of that journey come full circle.
We’re proud to introduce Creative Throughlines: A Class of 2006 Exhibition, curated by Lindsay Lee Long, and featuring the work of fellow classmates Shawn “Painta” Lindsay and Jamie Monroe.
Three artists. Three distinct creative journeys. One shared starting point: Suitland.
This exhibition is more than artwork on a wall. It’s a reflection of who we were, who we became, and the creativity our classmates have continued to carry into the world over the last 20 years.
