The 2020 Front Porch Concert Series at Creative Suitland Arts Center

With gathering restrictions likely to be in place for some time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Creative Suitland Arts Center is committed to enhancing the greater Suitland area by presenting live concerts virtually. Sponsored by the Arts and Cultural Heritage Division of Park and Planning, the National Endowment for the Arts, and Joe's Movement Emporium, the Creative Suitland Front Porch Concert Series features a wide array of free live music and entertainment for the family.

Black Folks Don't Swim? is a world based Black Queer led movement of musicians, songwriters, composers, and activists generating comfortable spaces for all to come together and feel uplifted through music.

The Front Porch Concert Series is made possible by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts Our Town grant for creative placemaking and support from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Division of Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission. Creative Suitland Arts Center is a project of Joe’s Movement Emporium in partnership with the Revenue Authority of Prince George’s County.
