Creative Suitland presents Kwanzaa: For The Culture 2022

Join us for two jam packed days full of excitement, community, and culture. Our second day, Community Day, will feature an artisan market, African Dance & Drum workshops, Kemetic Yoga workshop, and Free Family Art Activities presented by Arts On A Roll.

COMMUNITY DAY SCHEDULE

9AM-10AM - Kemetic Yoga Workshop - Facilitated by Nzinga - This class is an introduction into Kemetic (Egyptian) Yoga which simply means that the postures are gentle enough for someone who may or may not experience this sort of movement on a regular basis. We will breathe into the postures and challenge ourselves to go deeper. Open to all! $15 admission

10AM - 11AM - AFRICAN DANCE WORKSHOP - Facilitated by Ni Dembaya African Dance Ensemble -Class Description coming soon!

11AM - 12N - AFRICAN DRUM WORKSHOP - Facilitated by Ni Dembaya African Dance Ensemble - Class Description coming soon! $5 Drum Rental (must RSVP in advance to secure drum)
