Join us on Saturday, March 13th at 6PM to celebrate the 1-Year Anniversary of Creative Suitland Arts Center.

The Virtual Concert Fundraiser will feature LIVE performances from some of our favorite performing artists that embody the spirit and culture of Suitland, MD. Including a special performance from the 2021 Prince George's County Youth Poet Laureate, Sainey Ceesay!

All proceeds from this event will support Creative Suitland's Empty Spaces Creative Places creative placemaking initiative. Creative Suitland has established the Empty Spaces Creative Places (ESCP) initiative which is dedicated to enhancing the commercial corridors in the Suitland area.

Empty Spaces Creative Places will work with local artists to address several key areas of blight and disuse in Suitland. Projects will include use of designs, programs, public art installations, and art activities to breathe life into neglected parcels of land, re-imagine vacant buildings, provide temporary programs in under-used spaces and encourage walk-ability.
