Community Workshop: Women’s Firearm & Self-Defense Program

The Women's Firearm & Self-Defense Program is a community wellness program-partnership offered to the public on-site by Creative Suitland in Suitland, MD. It's purpose is to inform, educate and engage women/female indentifying participants in the following: emergency response awareness, instructional use of legal firearms, self-defense techniques, tactics and mindbody coaching. All interested Prince George's County residents, ages 16+ are encouraged to register to participate. 

The program will be offered as a bi-weekly series. Every other Sunday starting Sunday, April 24th. There is a one-time $25 registration fee per participant (due at your first workshop).


ABOUT THE FACILITATORS

Kayla Harley is a Licensed Health/Wellness Practitioner specializing in Breathwork, the GYROKINESIS® Expansion Technique, Holistic Mind-Body Conditioning. She is passionate about bridging generational gaps, providing access to valuable tools and information to women and promoting well-being, happiness and wholeness in BIPOC Communities.

Tianna Rhodes is a Licensed NRA FireArms Instructor. She is committed to empowering her community in Prince George's County, MD and the surrounding areas with the knowledge and skills participants need to protect themselves and their families. After serving 9 years in the US Army, Tianna founded her own company and teamed up with other professionals in the area.
