Writing To Wellness is a discussion-based workshop designed for writers to use poetry as a tool for healing when navigating trauma. Participants will learn helpful tips via discussion on how to navigate trauma through expressive forms of creative writing, how to advocate for others and how to build a safe space for self-care. The program will be held virtually VIA ZOOM from 7-8:30PM.
Writing To Wellness was created by our Poetry Coordinator, C. Thomas, who leads Writing to Wellness (for adults) on the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month. We are excited to expand the program and provide a safe space for every community. This workshop is exclusively for women and will be facilitated by Kim B. Miller, Poet Laureate of Prince William County, VA.
